Chongqing Special Ship Digital Design and Manufacture Engineering Center is a provincial and ministerial level innovative platform for shipbuilding science and technology, which was approved to construct by Chongqing Science and Technology Commission in June, 2009. Based on Chongqing Jiaotong University, the center has adopted the way of co-construction between university and industry. The Center conducts scientific research and technical service in the fields of ship and ocean engineering, intelligent navigation etc. mainly targeted for Chongqing and southwest China. The Center includes 6 research institutes likeModern Ship Design Research Institute,Green Ship Research Institute and so on.

4. Ship and Ocean Engineering structural mechanics Research Institute (Director: Ma Yongliang)
